Wir waren wieder unterwegs, und auch wenn aufgrund von Visa-Verzögerungen manche Wochenenden teilweise frei geblieben sind und diese dann im Studio oder so verbracht wurden sind dennoch einige Reise-Snapshots angefallen, die wir euch hier für ein wenig Abwechslung nicht vorenthalten wollen.

Am 4. April 2014 kommt die ‘Keep House EP’ von Rampa in die Stores und Onlineshops in den Straßen und im WWW.
Das alte Spiel: bevor im Presswerk die Maschinen warm laufen, kommt die Testpressung. Der Unterschied zur normalen Platte: Sie sieht bedeutend beschissener aus, ist dafür aber fast einzigartig. Testpressungen sind darum weniger Dekorationsobjekte als verbissen gejagte Sammlerstücke. Und wie immer könnt ihr an dieser Stelle eine Testpressung der kommenden KM022 gewinnen.
An der Verlosung nimmt teil, wer hier auf dem Blog unter diesem Beitrag einen Kommentar schreibt. Einsendeschluss ist Montag den 31.03. um 12:00. Like always the vinyl production started off with the approval of the test pressing. If it was not for you the unique peice with the serial number 0 would be likely to end up on our shelves to catch dust and bass waves. But as you may know we cultivate the tradition of giving it away for nothing than a quick hello.

Wenn es sich nicht von selbst ergibt empfiehlt es sich, ab und an ein freies Wochenende zu einzuplanen, um neben dem Touren auch mal wirklich konzentriert an neuen Tracks arbeiten zu können. So geschehen auch dieses Wochenende, an dem sich Adam und David für eine ausgedehnte Session im Studio eingenistet haben um an der jeweils nächsten EP zu arbeiten.
Um genau zu sein gibt es dafür keine bessere Zeit als die Nacht von Freitag auf Montag. Im Internet passiert zu wenig, als dass es für die Ablenkung reicht, das Telefon steht still und die Dunkelheit beruhigt die Nerven. Wenn es dann auch noch draussen Regnet, es schön kuschelig warm ist und in der Vorratskammer ausreichend Nüsse, Magerquark und Kaffee für das leibliche Wohl vorhanden sind, dann sind die Vorraussetzungen wohl perfekt.

If it does not happen by itself, it certainly is recommendable to plan in a weekend off every now and then to make sure that there is enough time to concentrate working on new tracks. That’s what happened this weekend, when Adam and David met to indulge in some extended studio sessions working on their next EPs.
To be precise, there is no better time for that than the night from Friday to Monday. The Internet is not distracting with 10.001 updates all the time, the phone stops ringing nonstop and the darkness calms the senses. On top of that, if it rains outside and it is nice and warm and there are enough nuts, low fat curd cheese and coffee in the pantry for the physical well-being, that’s when the circumstances are just perfect.

Es hat sich so ergeben, daß wir die letzten Jahre jedes Mal alle zusammen rund um das OFF Sónar nach Barcelona gefahren sind und dort inklusive Freunden und befreundetem Booker eine Woche unter einem Dach bzw. unter blauem Himmel verbracht haben.
Der All-In Trip ist also längst ein fester Bestandteil in unserer Jahresplanung und bildet für den einen oder anderen sogar einen Hauptteil des Jahresurlaubs.
Diese Woche haben wir alles dingfest gemacht, eine Bude klargemacht und Flüge gebucht. Was anstehende Events betrifft läuft die Planung noch, aber auch dazu wird es bald genauere Informationen geben. Bis dahin freuen wir uns schonmal riesig auf die Cappuccino Flatrate im Santa Marta, das viele Snickers Eis und nicht zu vergessen, das Bodé Sandwhich sowie all die anderen Dinge, die es auf einem so hohen Genuss-Niveau wirklich nur in Barcelona geben kann.

Over the past years we developed the habit of collectively traveling to Barcelona around the OFF Sónar, accompanied by friends and chummily bookers, sharing one roof and the blue sky in one week of peace and harmony.
Accordingly, the all-in trip has long become an inherent part of our annual planning process and may even be a main part of the annual vacations for some.
This week we got everything sorted, booked the apartment and the flights! Plans for upcoming events are also in the making, news will be provided in time. Until then, we are already looking forward to the cappuccino flatrate at Santa Marta, all of the Sinickers ice cream, not to forget the Bodé Sandwhich and all the other things that can only be found in Barcelona.
