Am Dienstag ist es soweit – Der Boiler Room Berlin besucht uns in unserem Studio zu einer Daytime Session. Um ein bisschen Platz für euch zu schaffen haben wir ein paar Möbel entfernt und ein ordentliches Soundsystem eingepflanzt.

Wer mit dabei sein möchte schreibt uns einfach eine Mail mit dem Betreff “Boiler Room” an blackhole [at] keinemusik [dot] com.

Unsere Gästeliste ist aus Kapazitätsgründen sehr limitiert, also schreibt schnell und kommt vor allem pünktlich, da die ganze Session schon um 13 Uhr startet. Wenn der Raum voll ist, dann ist er voll und wir können dann leider keinen mehr reinlassen.

Ob ihr auf der Liste steht erfahrt ihr bis Montag Abend per Antwort auf eure E-Mail.

Getränketechnisch haben wir hier ein paar Kisten Bier rumstehen, aber ihr könnt gerne eure eigenen Sachen mitbringen. Ein Grill steht auch bereit und ein Penny ist um die Ecke wenn irgendwann der Hunger kommt. Also, ob im Livestream auf boilerboom.tv oder live vor Ort: Bis Dienstag!

On Tuesday it is on – The Boiler Room Berlin is coming to visit us at our Studio for a Daytime Session. To make room for you we will have removed our furniture and set up a soundsystem.

Those of you who are in town and want to join in with us can write us an email with the subject “Boiler Room” to blackhole [at] keinemusik [dot] com.

Our guestlist is really limited due to lack of capacity, so please hurry up with the email and foremost arrive early, since the session will start at 1 o’clock pm. When the room is full, it’s full and there would unfortunately be nothing we can do but closing the door.

Those who are on the list will be iformed by response on their email until Monday night.

Regarding the drinks, we will have a few beer crates up here, otherwise please be free to bring your own beverage! A barbeque grill will be ready for use and there’s a Penny supermarket right around the corner, just in case you happen to become hungry… so, either you watch us in the live stream on boilerboom.tv or we see you here on Tuesday!

Weekend Snapshots – Istanbul Special

Am Donnerstag gings für alle zur ADE ins Straf_Werk. Am Tag drauf ist Rampa in Amsterdam geblieben um zu schauen, ob noch was stehen bleibt, er war schon vor paar Wochen in TR. Für die anderen ging es nach geschätzten zwei Stunden Schlaf in leicht variierter Besetzung direkt weiter nach Istanbul für unser erstes “Keinemusik Weekend”, mit nicht nur einer KM Nacht, sondern gleich zwei aufeinander folgenden Nächten im neu eröffneten Kasette Tomtom. Am Freitag haben &ME und David vorgelegt, Adam und Reznik haben den Samstag in die Verlängerung gespielt.
Logischerweise haben wir den Aufenthalt für alle bis Sonntag angesetzt. Es wurde ein traumhaftes Wochenende ohne Ende. Wie ihr seht haben wir auch ein paar Fotos geschossen und gleich einfach mal alle zusammen gewürfelt… hier sind unsere Snapshots.

On Thursday we all went to ADE at Straf_Werk. The day after Rampa stayed in Amsterdam to see if there would be anything in the city left standing, as he has been in TR only a few weeks back. The rest of us continued to Istanbul for our first ever “Keinemusik Weekend”, which would not be just one KM night, but two nights in a row at the recently opened Kasette Tomtom. On Friday &ME and David Mayer kicked it off while Adam and Reznik ran it home on Saturday.
Of course we all scheduled our stay until Sunday night. It became a magic endless weekend. As you can see we also shot some pictures. We thought we might as well put them up all together… here are our weekend snapshots.

RAR + David Mayer “Painkiller” Remixes OUT NOW

Die EP ist das liebste Format von Terranova. Und gerne folgt auf die EP eine Remix-EP. Auch die im Mai erschienene “Painkiller EP” zieht jetzt eine Remix-EP nach sich. Als Remixer sind neben dem Kompakt Labelboss Michael Mayer auch wieder Rampa (diesmal mit Re.You unter dem gemeinsamen aka RAR) und David Mayer aus unserem KM Bootcamp mit dabei.

Zu kaufen gibt es Vinyl und Downloads. Check DEEJAY.DE und Beatport. Ganz nebenbei, es gibt sogar eine kleine Releaseparty dazu, und zwar am Mittwoch mit Terranova im Boiler Room. Wer nicht auf der Gästeliste landet kann sich auf www.boilerroom.tv den Livestream reinziehen, in aller Ruhe. Dass ihr uns bloss alle Schmerzfrei durch die Woche kommt.

The EP format is the favorite format of Terranova. And most likely the EP will be followed by a remix-EP. So the “Painkiller EP” which was released in May now also has a remix-EP following in. David’s Pick of The Week

Mathew Jonson ist einer derjenigen Artists, die mich seit vielen Jahren immer wieder genauer hinhören lassen. Er zeichnet sich für viele gewissermaßen epische Werke verantwortlich, wie diesen Track hier, der für mich Teil einer gewissen Initialzündung war und mir, nachdem ich ihn 2005 das erste mal gehört hatte, nicht wieder aus dem Kopf ging. Hier kommt einiges zusammen, sei es einfach der perfekte Klang, der massige Funk der Bassline, die Dramaturgie oder die bissige Leadmelodie, die dann auch irgendwie eine Ahnung davon gibt, wie der Titel zu seinen ganz speziellen Namen kam. Wie jetzt gerade auch kommt es bei diesem Track oft vor, dass ich ihn mir einfach zwischendurch immer mal wieder anhöre. Und er bleibt jedes mal gleich spannend. Er ist eben eines der seltenen Stücke, die vollständig aus Alleinstellungsmerkmalen bestehen.

Mathew Jonson is one of those artists who have continuously made me listen up more closely for many years. He is responsible for quite some epic peices, such as this track right here, which I consider part of a certain personal booster detonation of mine, and which stayed in my head ever since I first heard it in 2005. It shows startingly many specific characteristis, be it the perfect sound, the cutting funk of the bassline, the arrangement in general or the haunting lead melody, which maybe also somehow gives an idea of why the track got its very particular name. Like right now it happens quite a lot that I simply listen to it from time to time inbetween. And it always remains just as exciting. That is because it’s one of the rare tracks that completely consist of incomparably unique, outstanding features.

In a group of 7 we spent 6 days in Barcelona around the Off Sónar weekend, enjoying the sun, some parties and, of course, our favorite spots in the Barceloneta area, such as the Bóde sandwhich corner, the La Cassola streetfood place or the one and only café Santa Marta.
