Off-Sonar 2012! Nachdem wir letztes Jahr (check) nicht komplett waren und nur einige Tage eingeplant hatten sind wir diesmal im Sechserpack angerückt, und zwar für eine ganze Woche. Neben jeder Menge Sonne, Meer und dem täglichen Strandbesuch stand natürlich auch Fussball auf dem Programm. Aber auch die erste Party ließ nicht lange auf sich warten. Los ging’s mit Saved vs. Rejected mit u.a. Joris Voorn & Nic Fanciulli, Karotte und natürlich &ME. Das nächste Highlight war die Watergate x Whatpeopleplay x Ego mit u.a. Tiefschwarz, H.O.S.H., Mathias Kaden, Solomun und DJ Hell. Dummerweise wurden zwischendurch einige Events aus den verschiedenstan Gründen abgeblasen, und so wurde ausgerechnet unsere Suol vs. Keinemusik leider kurzfristig abgesagt. Dafür gab es am Samstag noch die Souvenir and Friends im Wip, mit u.a. Rampa & Re.You live. Mit bomben Wetter und bis zu 35° C wurde es eine Woche wie aus dem Bilderbuch, welches ihr hier in 800 Pixeln Bildbreite bestaunen könnt… Danke und beste Grüße an all unsere neuen und alten Homies – Bis nächstes Jahr in Barcelona!

Off-Sonar 2012! After we weren’t complete and had just a few days last year, this time we came as a group of six and stayed for a whole week. Besides plenty of sun, sea and the daily visit to the beach we of course also watched some football. But the first party was on just as soon. It started off with a blast at the Saved vs. Rejected at Mac Arena beach with Joris Voorn & Nic Fanciulli, Karotte and of course &ME. The next highlight was the Watergate x Whatpeopleplay x Ego with Tiefschwarz, H.O.S.H., Mathias Kaden, Solomun, DJ Hell and more. Unfortunately it happened that some events were cancelled, and so our Suol vs. Keinemusik was cancelled too, for which we are really sorry. But nevertheless there was another bang on Saturday at Wip with Souvenir and Friends, where Rampa and Re.You played live. With the best weather possible and up to 35° C it became a week just like a trip out of the picture-book you can see it here in a width of 800 pixels… Thanks an best greets to all our new and old homies – See you again next year in Barcelona!

Die Jaded ist eine der ältesten Afterhours in London und findet seit Oktober 2004 jeden Sonntag statt. Den Bank Holidays des Osterwochenendes ist es zu verdanken, dass die Afterhour im Cable ausnahmsweise am Montag stattfand. Ich selbst bin von Rostock über Berlin bereits am Sonntag Nachmittags eingeflogen. Überraschenderweise hab ich am Flughafen &ME getroffen, der auch mit dem Flieger rüber ist und noch am selben Abend auf der Saved Party im einige Kilometer von London entfernten Maidstone seine Toolbox ausgepackt hat.
Unseren Floor habe ich am Ostermontag um 7:30 eröffnet, bevor Adam direkt von seinem Gig aus Köln gegen 9 ins Cable geflogen kam. Weiter gings Back to Back, bis dann um 13 Uhr die Lichter angingen… Es wurde einer der besten Gigs die wir bisher in London hatten! Super Leute!! Wahnsinns Stimmung!!!
Beim Lunch danach mit unserem Gastgeber Raymundo Rodriguez ist auch &ME wieder zu uns gestoßen. Wir sind bis Dienstag geblieben, Sightseeing und latenight Guinness inklusive. Vielen Dank an alle für das knaller Feedback, danke an Ray und seine Crew!! We’ll be back!!!

Jaded is one of the oldest afterhours of London and has taken place every Sunday since October 2004. Thanks to the bank holidays around Easter, the afterhour at Cable was on Easter Monday for a change. I came from Rostock and flew in on Sunday afternoon. Surprisingly I met &ME at the airport, who happened to be on the same plane on his way bringing his toolbox to the Saved party in Maidstone near London that evening.
I openened our floor at 7:30am on Easter Monday, before Adam came flying in directly from his gig in Cologne, arriving at Cable at around 9am. We continued back to back until the lights were turned on at 1pm… it developed to become one of our best gigs in London so far! Amazing people!! Awesome vibes!!!
Afterwards we had lunch with our host Raymundo Rodriguez, where &ME also showed up again. We stayed until Tuesday, including some sightseeing and latenight pints of Guinness. Thanks to all for the nice feedback, thanks to Ray and his crew!! We’ll be back!!!
