Rampa – Newborn Soul EP (KM029) out SEP 8th 2015
It’s been just a few months ago, Rampa carved his last EP-notch into the Keinemusik-release-tally. But here he goes again, delivering his second KM-offering this year, an almost prophetically headlining track called “Newborn Soul”.
This tune virtually is the score to the current situation of its creator. A lurking, tension building piece that’s coping without a kickdrum for more than 50 % of it’s running time, just to place it in floor-shaking boost in the exact perfect moment. A percussion and synth- flavoured build-up somewhere between tool-characteristics and stylish peaktime-emphasis, that’s rising like phoenix from the ashes.
“Mascha” on the flip can be appreciated as a classic Rampa. Analogue sounding, washed out intro, irresistible tribal-grooves including analogue filter and delay-rides, percussive cushioning and folkloristic chants that will invoke nothing else but rowdy floor-ecstasy in this context.

Dieses Jahr und zwar ganz konkret am 27.02. wird aber alles noch größer, noch feuchter, noch ausufernder. Diesmal wird nicht nur der Pool bespielt, sondern auch der Boiler-Floor. Und damit sich keiner verläuft, wurde der Abend unter das Motto “Hand in Hand” gestellt. Soll heißen, jeder KM-DJ spielt ein B2B-Set mit einem Künstler, der ihm besonders nahe steht. Letzte Woche waren wir 4 Tage auf dem BPM Festival in Puerto del Carmen, Mexico. Zusammen mit Till Von Sein und Emma von Clique Bookings waren wir zu sechst bei dem Unterfangen, die Tage in die Länge zu ziehen so weit es ging.
Am Sonntag den 11. Januar fand unser erstes BPM Showcase statt, im Tabú Club all night long. Die Party ging bis spät in den Morgen, MC Complicated aus Amsterdam hat für uns gehostet, die Stimmung lief heiss und der Schweiss tropfte buchstäblich von der Decke.
Die darauffolgenden Tage waren sonnig und warm, die Tacos zahlreich, und die Pools erfrischend. Es war eine hammer Woche. Danke BPM! Danke für die Gastfreundschaft, Mexico!!

Last week we spent four days together at the BPM Festival in Puerto del Carmen, Mexico. Including Till Von Sein and Emma of Clique bookings, we were a group of six, giving our best to make the days last as long as possible.
On Sunday January 11th our first BPM Keinemusik Showcase took place at Tabú club all night long. The party continued way until the morning hours, MC Complicated from Amsterdam was hosting for us, the mood ran hot and there was literally sweat on the wall.
The following days were sunny and warm, the tacos were ordered up to three times a day and the pools were refreshing. It was a great week. Thank you BPM! Thank you for having us, Mexico!!
