Rampa ist derzeit dabei, die erste Keinemusik Hardware zu entwickeln. Es ist ein modifiziertes DD7, optimiert für die Benutzung als DJ und Live-Act Tool. Unter anderem wurden Eingangs- und Ausgangspegel angepasst, ein Tap zum schnellen Angleichen der Geschwindigkeit eingebaut und die neue Funktion “mom” eingenerdet. “mom” steht für momentary und erlaubt es einem, den FX punktgenau nur für die gedrückte Zeit zu aktivieren.

Rampa is currently about to develop the first Keinemusik hardware. It’s a modified DD7, optimized for the use as a DJ and live-act tool. Amongst other new features, the input and output gain have been adjusted, a tap button for quick speed matching has been added and the new feature “mom” has been nerded in. “mom” stands for momentary and activates the FX only for the time it’s being pushed.

Während sich die meisten Zeitgenossen bei 30°C lieber an mehr oder weniger untiefen Gewässern getummelt haben wurde im KM Studio am neuen Release gefeilt, konsequenterweise bei Kunstlicht und zugezogenen Gardinen. Doch nicht nur für &ME zahlt sich jetzt der bis in die Nacht mit Toolhouserock verbrachte Sommer aus, schliesslich haben wir alle was davon.
Unsere KM019 besteht mit “Shallow” und “Heist” aus zwei Tracks. Die Testpressung ist auch schon weg und die Vinyls werden gerade gestapelt, um demnächst mit allen Winden verschickt zu werden. Der Vorverkauf läuft auf DECKS und DEEJAY.DE.
Aber zuerst gibt es die &ME “Shallow EP” exclusiv auf Beatport. Das bedeutet wie immer eine Dauer von 14 Tagen bis zum Release auf allen anderen Platformen. Doch dann gibt es auch in unserem KM Shop, auf iTunes und den weiteren Downloadportalen kein Halten mehr.

While most of our coevals likely preferred to spend their spare time somewhere near shallow water during the 30°C period, the KM studio was never left unoccupied in order to finish this new release, consistently in artificial light and with close-drawn curtains. But not only for &ME the toolhouserocking summer now pays off, since obviously, everybody has their benefit in the end.
Our KM019 consists of two tracks named “Shallow” and “Heist”. The testpressing has already found its way out there and the vinyls are piling up, ready to be sent out with all the winds. Presales are running on DECKS and DEEJAY.DE.
But first the &ME “Shallow EP” is now available exclusively on Beatport. This means a 14 days long run for all the other platforms. But eventually all gates will fall for the shopping-heist in our KM Shop, on iTunes and the other download portals.

Wer oben schon reingeklickt hat weiß, was hier gespielt wird. &ME ist im Tool-Haus! Die beiden Tracks “Shallow” und “Heist” ergeben zusammen die nächste KM-EP. Stichtag ist der 16. August, dann schlägt die Digitalversion in den Online-Stores auf. Die KM019 Vinyl wird in diesem Moment versandfertig gemacht und kann ab sofort auf DEEJAY.DE und DECKS.DE vorbestellt werden.
Auf dem Weg zur Vinyl ist die Testpressung ein entscheidender Faktor. Sie dient als Muster für die Serie und steht entsprechend ganz am Anfang, sozusagen als absolute Erstgeburt. Bevor also eine Platte in Serie geht, erstellt das Presswerk eine Testpressung und verschickt sie an das Label. Hier wird die Scheibe unter genauem hinhören abgespielt und final begutachtet. Wenn alles in Ordnung ist und der Klang den Vorstellungen des Labels und der Artistst entspricht bekommt das Presswerk sein GO.
Diese Muster sind normalerweise unverkäuflich, doch ihre Einzigartigkeit macht sie für uns zu einem perfekten Geschenk. So bleiben wir auch dieses Mal unserem Release-Ritual treu und geben das gute Stück an Euch weiter! Für das Rennen um den Gewinn ist die Comment-Section unter diesem Beitrag die ideale Rennbahn. The appointed Date is August 16th, that’s when the digital version hits the stores. The vinyl version is being prepared for shipping at this very moment and can be preordered on DEEJAY.DE and DECKS.DE already.
On the Way to a vinyl release, the testpressing is a crucial factor. It serves as the serie’s prototype and hence marks the very beginning, as the first born, so to say. So before a record enters mass production, the pressing plant will always send a testpressing to the label for approval. Here the record will be listened to carefully, and if there are no issues and the sound accords to the ideas of the label and artists, the pressing plant will get its GO.
Usually these Prototypes are nonmarketable. But its inimitability makes the testpressing a perfect present. So just as our release-ritual demands, we will pass it on to you!
