Während der Tour durch Neuseeland und Australian kam es auch zu dem einen oder anderen Roadtrip. Auf dem Weg zum berühmten Surfstrand Bells Beach in Victoria liegt auch das Powerhouse. Das Powerhouse in Geelong ca. 1,5 Stunden von Melbourne ist ein stillgelegtes Kraftwerk, das zu einem Street Art Mekka umfunktioniert wurde. Es ist permanent im Wandel und ist definitiv einen Abstecher wert.

During the tour through New Zealand and Australia there were also a few roadtrips. On the way to the famous surf spot Bells Beach in Victoria is also the Powerhouse, an old power station in North Geelong, now transformed into a street art mecca. It is in constant change and is definitively worth a trip.

Seit Anfang Februar ist David auf Tour durch Neuseeland und Australien, mit insgesamt sechs Gigs in und um Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne und Sydney. Begonnen wurde mit 3 tagen auf dem Off The Radar Festival in Te Arai, ca. 2 Stunden ausserhalb von Auckland, mitten im Nirgendwo, mit zwei Badeseen und dem Meer in direkter Nähe.
Besonderen Dank an dieser Stelle an Logan & Jay und auch allen anderen, die unterwegs mit Hingabe und Tipps Beistand geleistet haben,danke für alles!!

Since the beginning of February David has been on tour through New Zealand and Australia, with alltogether six gigs in and around Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, starting off with 3 days at Off The Radar Festival in Te Arai. That is about 2 hours out of Auckland, with two swimming lakes and the sea right next to the site.
Special thanks go out to Logan & Jay, and also to everyone else who provided advice and shelter all along the trip, thank you for everything!!

Wir zählen hier schon die Tage bis zum großen Hand in Hand-Spektakel am Freitag. Momentan sind wir bei vier. Vier ist übrigens ein gutes Stichwort. Vier Gästelistenplätze in der klassischen Aufteilung 2×2 würden wir euch gern schenken. Am vergangenen Samstag fand die von hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit eingeschlossene Release-Party für Mikesh’s neue Riotvan EP “Year Of The Horse” im No. 9 in Leipzig statt (siehe oben), beinahe jeder der enthaltenen Tracks wurde in den letzten KM Radio Shows gefeaturt, Adam hat auch “Standing” bereits vor ein paar Wochen gepickt (aber das unterschlagen wir jetzt einfach) und in den letzten Wochen von jedem hier im Camp über diverse Floors geschickt. Es ist de facto das Release, auf das sich hier gerade jeder einigen kann. Deswegen gilt es auch gleich die ganze Platte zu picken. Und zwar hier.

Easy one. This week it just has to be Good Guy Mikesh. Last Saturday, the release party of his new Riotvan EP “Year Of The Horse” took place in one of Leipzig’s finest record stores No.9 (see above), almost every track was featured in one of the last KM radio shows, Adam picked “Standing” a couple of weeks ago (let’s just ignore that for now) and dropped on countless floors over the last weeks by everyone in the KM camp. It is de facto the release everyone of us can agree on these days. So that’s way the whole record needs to be picked. You can do it here.
Am 27.02. erscheint die KM026, Rampas “Good Times Roll” EP offiziell. Die sieht Dank Monjas Artwork spitze aus (siehe oben). Und sie klingt auch so (siehe unten).
