Der 1. Mai in Berlin war eine einzige rießige party. Es war so unglaublich viel los, dass man wirklich keine chance hatte alles zu checken geschweige denn mitzubekommen. Meine perönlichen Highlights waren Taktloss, das Karibische Piraten Essen aus der Feuertonne und der mega Rave vor der Luzia Bar. Leider nur mit dem Handy fotografiert… freu mich schon auf nächstes Jahr!
1st May in berlin was one big party. There was so much happening, it was impossible to catch it all in one day. My personal highlights were Taktloss, the caribbean piratemeal out of the firebarrel and the super rave in front of the Luzia Bar. Just shot these with my cellphone… looking foreward to next year!
Nachdem &ME letzten Samstag im Maria Club fertig war gings für Rampa und Mayer noch weiter in die Münze. Dort hat Rampa nach GusGus und Raz Ohara die späten Morgenstunden beschallt. Die Bilder sind dem Pegel entsprechend verschwommen.
After &ME was through at Maria last Saturday, Rampa and Mayer continued on to Münze. There Rampa followed GusGus and Raz Ohara in acoustically irradiating the later hours. The blurryness of the pictures corresponds to the overall level.
&ME hat am Samstag mit Stimming und Bartsch in der Maria am Ostbahnhof gespielt. Als wir dort ankamen war eigentlich nichts los, dann sind wir ein Stock tiefer in die Backstagekatakomben und haben den Wodkabestand dezimiert. Um halb drei war Andre dann an der Reihe… und den Rest seht ihr ja auf den Bildern.
On Saturday &ME played at Maria am Ostbahnhof together with Stimming and Bartsch. When we arrived, there wasn’t really anything happening there yet, so we went backstage to decimate the vodka supply. Half past two it was Andre’s turn… the following can be seen on the photos.
Das fünfte Keinemusik-Release ist bald draußen. Das bedeutet: es gibt endlich wieder eine Release-Party. Aber! Da es ein ganz besonderes Release ist – besonders, weil sämtliche Keinemusik-Producer einen Track beigesteuert haben und weil das Artwork so toll ist, dass wir auch noch eine Sonderedition der Auflage inkl. T-Shirt und Totebag herausbringen – gibt es nicht nur eine Release-Party, sondern zwei. Um 19 Uhr gehts los im Civilist. Geselliges Warm-up mit Freibeck’s und Freisnacks und Frei… ähm… zügigkeit. Wenn dann alle langsam in Fahrt kommen, wechseln wir ab 23 Uhr ins Cookies und feiern mit &ME, Rampa, Adam Port, David Mayer, Reznik und Ignant bis zum Morgen.
The fifth Keinemusik release is coming soon. This implies: There’s finally going to be another releaseparty. But! As this release is an extra special one – not just because this time all Keinemusik producers chipped in a track and because the artwork is so brilliant that we decided to additionally launch a special edition of the whole package including T-shirt and totebag – there will not be solely one releaseparty, but two. We’ll start 19 o’clock at Civilist, a chummy warm-up with free Beck’s, free snacks and other things. When everybody has caught the mood we’ll move on to Cookies, starting at 23 o’clock partying together with &ME, Rampa, Adam Port, David Mayer, Reznik and Ignant all night long.
Gerade beim planlosen durstöbern meines sagen wir mal halb ordentlichen Fotoarchivs entdecke ich drei Fotos, die ich schon fast vergessen hatte. Im Sommer 2008 hat Florian Kolmer über 70 Berliner DJs auf dem Weekend Dach fürs Bang Bang Magazin vor die Linse genommen. Damals hatten wir ja noch keinen Blog, darum kommt der Post jetzt mit knapp eineinhalb Jahren Verspätung. Aber besser spät als nie.
Es war total cool, mit Bier und echt guter Stimmung! Mit dabei waren u.a. auch Ali Schwarz, Anja Schneider, 3000/Dirt Crew, Clé, Dixon, Ellen Allien, Florian Meindel, Holger Zilske, Kiki, Michi Beck, Modeselektor, Oliver Koletzki, Pan-Pot, Paul Kalkbrenner, Prosumer, Sascha Funke und unsere zwei Nasen, Rampa + &ME. Eine sehr schöne Erinnerung. Schade, dass sowas immer so schnell vorbei geht. (Auf die Bilder clicken um sie groß zu sehn.)

Just, whilst looking through some of the old photos of my rather halfway sorted archives, I found three Photos I had almost totally forgotten about. In summer 2008, Florian Kolmer had more than 70 Berlin DJs gathered in front of his lens for the Bang Bang Magazine on the rooftop of the Weekend building. We didn’t yet have a blog back then, so the post now arrives with an almost one and a half years delay. But better late than never. It really was great fun, there was enough beer and excellent vibes! Down to represent were, amongst others, Ali Schwarz, Anja Schneider, 3000/Dirt Crew, Clé, Dixon, Ellen Allien, Florian Meindel, Holger Zilske, Kiki, Michi Beck, Modeselektor, Oliver Koletzki, Pan-Pot, Paul Kalkbrenner, Prosumer, Sascha Funke and the two of us, Rampa + &ME. &ME, Adam und Rampa spielen diesen Samstag auf drei verschiedenen Partys in Berlin… da sollte doch für jeden was dabei sein. Adam mit Butch im Raumklang, &ME in der Berghain Kantine und Rampa im Luzia. Hmmm, wat mach ichn jetze?
&ME, Rampa and Adam will play on three different events in Berlin this Saturday… so there should be something suitable for everyone. Adam together with Butch at Raumklang, &ME at the Berghain Kantine and Rampa at Lucia. Hmmm, now, where should I go?

Am Freitag abend um 23:30 Uhr kommt auf Arte ein Tracks Spezial über Berlin. Ich glaube es geht um die DDR, das Clubleben und das Berlin Festival. Wir haben etwas Musik zur Sendung beigesteuert.
Heute Mittag durften wir uns wieder bei Nike austoben und haben viele schöne Schuhe bekommen. Gar nicht so einfach sich was auszusuchen bei so einer rießigen Auswahl… (more…)
Was soll man noch sagen…? Da wäre doch noch was! ALL NIGHT LONG BABYYYY!! Es ist ja Fashion Week und die BBB in der Stadt – deshalb bitte früh kommen, bevor es zu voll wird.
Am Freitag haben Jessica 6 in Berlin gespielt…hätte bischen voller sein können, die Show war aber richtig fein! Ich hab Nomi jetzt ja schon oft gehört und aufgenommen aber gestern Abend hat sie mich echt umgehauen. Hatte ne 1A Gänsehaut…Whitney Houston Style.
