New Nikes

Gestern wurden wir von B mal wieder in den Nike Showroom eingeladen um uns einige nette Sachen auszusuchen. Es ging hauptsächlich um den Pegasus 89, welcher die letzten 20 Jahre Berliner Subkultur wiederspiegelt. Zu diesem Anlass wurde der Showroom in der Gipsstrasse neu gestaltet… sogar ein echter Bordstein wurde installiert. Es gab dann für jeden ein paar Schuhe und den Pegasus Zipper. Säänks!!

Yesterday we were invited to the Nike showroom by B once again to pick some fancy things. It was mainly about the Pegasus 89, which stands for the last 20 years of subculture in Berlin. Occasionally, the showroom in Gipsstrasse was refurnished… even a real curbstone was installed. However, each one of us got a pair of shoes and the Pegasus zipper. Thanks!!

No Satisfaction @ Centre Pompidou

Wahrscheinlich die beste Coverversion die es gibt. Wer das Original nicht mehr hören kann, der sollte sich zum Centre Pompidou begeben und den netten Klängen lauschen. Leider hat der Akku nicht mehr für “No Woman No Cry” gereicht – dagegen hatte selbst Satisfaction keine Chance.

Probably the best coverversion yet. Those who got sick of the original should visit the Centre Pompidou and experience some new versions. Unfortunately my camera wasn‘t in the mood to tape the even better version of “No Woman No Cry”.

Rampa @ Jackson Pollock Bar Pictures

Drei Tage Alarm. Mitwoch die Nike Party, Donnerstag Cookies und dann Freitag Jackson Pollock Bar in Freiburg… Es waren fast achthundert Leute da und es gab zwischenzeitlich Einlasstop. Und nicht nur der Laden war voll… Samstag und Sonntag stand komatöses Sofaing aufm Programm.

Three nights of action, with the Nike party on Wednesday, Cookies on Thursday and Jackson Pollock Bar in Freiburg on Friday. Almost eighthundred people came, the doors temporarely had to be closed. And not only the place was full… Saturday and Sunday were dedicated to comatose couching.

3 decades of &ME pictures

Hört, Hört! Unser guter &ME ist jetzt also mit seinen 30 unter die Senioren gegangen. Alt konnte man auch im Cookies werden, da die gute Laune kein Ende zu nehmen schien. &ME selbst kam seinen Gastgeberpflichten natürlich in bester Weise mit etlichen Drinks nach und ließ es sich nicht nehmen, den einen oder anderen mitzuzwitschern. Gebührenden Dank an dieser Stelle an alle Mitwirkenden – Cheers !!

Watch out! Our dearest &ME has now turned 30 and accordingly joined the senior citizens. Becoming old was something everybody could experience at Cookies, as the high spirits made no measures to leave at any time. As the evening’s host, &ME did everything to fulfill his obligations and indulged in quite a few drinks himself, in fact, he missed no opportunity to do so. At this point, it is time to thank the contributors duly – Cheers!

Ein neues Techno-Vocals-Girl is im Bizz! Endlich. Nina Kravitz in the House. Go Nina! Hab schon länger auf so was gewartet. Und wieder mal stelle ich fest… Mann, wenn ich doch nur ein bisschen singen könnte! Arrgghh!!!

A new techno-vocal-girl has entered the game! Finally. Nina Kravitz in da house. Go Nina! Been waiting for something like this for a long time. And again I realize… man, if I could only sing just as much as a little! Arrrgghh!!!

Nike Pegasus 89 Party Pictures

Pegasus Pegasus. Auf 2 Floors wurde im Cafe Moskau das 20 Jährige Jubiläum der Subkultur gefeiert. An den Plattenspielern mit dabei waren Dixon, Westbam, DJ Binichnich, DJ Hype, Schowi, Beathoavenz und Keinemusik mit &ME und Rampa. Hip Hop hooray, lass den Wodka laufen… die Leute wollen Nikes.

Pegasus Pegasus. The referring 20th anniversary was celebrated on two floors at Cafe Moskau, featuring Dixon, Westbam, DJ Binichnich, DJ Hype, Schowi, Beathoavenz and Keinemusik represented by &ME and Rampa on the decks. Hip Hop hooray, that’s what they need, a few sips of liquor and Nikes on their feet.

Nightmare @ Haus am Köllnischen Park Pictures

Adam, Reznik und Mayer haben letzten Freitag im Haus am Köllnischen Park gespielt. Das ist die ehemalige Chinesische Botschaft, eine riesige Location mit fünf Floors oder so. Adam hat nen paar Bilder gemacht, die ihr euch auf seinem Blog anschauen könnt (hätten ruhig nen paar mehr Bilder sein dürfen, Mr. Port) …naja, jedenfalls findet ihr die Bildchen genau HIER.

Adam, Reznik and Mayer played at the Haus am Köllnischen Park last Friday. The Location actually is the former embassy of China and houses countless floors. Adam took a few pictures (not too many, though!), which you can have a look at HERE.

&ME @ Aarhus Pictures

Keinemusik die Dritte. Rampa und Adam Port durften schon – jetzt war es Zeit für &ME zum Swingerklubben. Die Party war wie immer super aber leider auch wieder viel zu kurz. Nur gut, dass Andreas fürs Bürgermeisteramt kandidiert, um nach gewonnenner Wahl der Sperrstunde endlich ein Ende setzen zu können… YES HE CAN !

Keinemusik the third. Rampa and Adam Port already had the permission – Now it was time for &ME to do some Swingerklubbing. As always, the party was excellent, but unfortunately just as short in time, too. Ingeniously, Andreas is currently running for the mayor’s office, from where overturning the closing hour would be his first official act… YES HE CAN!

Helloween Pictures

Mann war das gruselig… naja, es war auf jeden Fall ne super Party. Erst Santé, dann Rampa und zwischendurch nen Haufen Drinks. Die Villa ist der Laden wenns um Helloween Partys geht.

Oh, that was spooky… well, however, it definately was a great party. First up was Santé, followed by Rampa, with a lot of drinks inbetween. Villa is the ultimate spot when it comes up to having a party on Helloween.
