David Mayer’s pick of the week

Vorletztes Wochenende gab es zahlreichen Besuch aus London, als die ganze lo*kee Schaar in der Wilden Renate einfiel um eines ihrer denkwürdigen Feste zu feiern. Dem grollenden Vulkan zum Trotz hatten sie eine 19 stündige Fahrt auf sich genommen. Die anschließende Party hat ungefähr genauso lange gedauert, wenn man überhaupt von einem Ende sprechen kann… Der heutige Tune ist diesem kleinen Ereignis und der beteiligten Truppe gewidmet ; ) Merci Seb!

Last week noumerous visitors came from London, when the lo*kee family entered Wilde Renate to celebrate one of their memorable feasts. Braving the sulky volcano they underwent a 19 hours trip by car. The following party lasted approximately just as long, if there’s talking about an end at all… Today’s tune is dedicated to this little event and everybody involved ; )

Bei unserem Keinemusik Essen gestern wurde Monja von unseren im Bauchbereich sehr “männlichen” Körpern offensichtlich so geschockt, dass sie das sofort in einer Mal- und Basteltherapie verarbeiten musste.

At our Keinemusik dinner yesterday Monja obviously got so shocked when she saw the bellypart of our “manly” bodies, that she had to handle it in a paint and tinker therapy immediately.

&ME @ Beat Circus Essen pictures

Zum Glück war die Reise von Paris nach Essen schon seit längerem mit dem Zug geplant, da der Vulkan ja alles ein bischen komplizierter gemacht hat. In der Einkaufsstadt wartete dann der Beat Circus mit Super Flu und einem der schönsten Hotelzimmer des Landes ^^. Nächster halt ist Beat Circus Solingen.

Luckily the trip form Paris to Essen was planned by train anyway, since otherwise the volcano would have made everything a bit more complicated. In shopcity there was the Beat Circus waiting with Super Flu and one of the most beautiful hotelrooms in this country ^^. Next stop is Beat Circus Solingen.

KM005 Nachpressung

Endlich ist die Nachpressung der Workparty One angekommen. Die erste Fuhre war nämlich schon nach einem Monat ausverkauft… jetzt heißt es wieder Stempeln, Stempeln, Stempeln und ab in die Läden damit.

Eventually the repressed Workparty One arrived. The first load was actually sold out within one month… now it’s stamping time again, stamping, stamping and shipping for the stores.

Keinemusik @ Intersection

Vor geraumer Zeit hatten wir ein sehr abenteuerliches shooting für das Intersection Mag. Wir haben uns bei -10°C aus einem fahrenden Auto geworfen, sind mit Katapulten in die Luft geschossen worden und durch brennende Reifen gesprungen. Es ging um die Fotostrecke Bands in Vans.

Some time ago we underwent this crazy photo shoot for the Intersection mag. At -10°C we jumped out of a driving car, had ourselves slingshot into the air and walked through fire. Showtime for the photo series Bands in Vans.

Die Skateboards sind bestellt! Laut Hersteller dauerts jetzt ca 2 Wochen bis sie fertig sind.

The skateboards are ordered! According to the manufacturers it will now last around two weeks until they’re finished.

Da issa nun – Der &ME Remix von Paolo Mojos ‘Crazy For You’ auf Noirs HitHouse Label Noir. Aus irgendeinem Grund schafft es das Label immer wieder die Digital Charts zu stürmen, so dass bei Beatport schon vor Schreck ans Nachpressen gedacht wird.

There it is – &ME’s remix of Paolo Mojo’s ‘Crazy For You’ on Noir’s hithouse label Noir. For some reason the label keeps climbing the digital charts, causing Beatport to consider repressing.
