Moodboards- oft erwünscht und gar nicht mein Ding. Für ein Portfolio musste ich aber genau diese nun (nach)stellen. Meine nachgefühlte Stimmung vor dem einstigen Arbeiten seht ihr hier.
Moodboards- requested often but so not my thing. For a portfolio I now had to show moodboards next to my concepts. So here is my reenacted mood before I started working back then.
Rampa’s pick of the week
Gestern war ja offiziell Sommeranfang, ich glaube um 13 Uhr. Da mich der Sommer tatsächlich die Frechheit besaß, mich in Berlin mit Wolken zu begrüßen, hab ich mich für das lied “Clouds” von Van Hai entschieden. Der Song war übrigens ein Ttipp von meiner Freundin Elly, die gerade in Lisabon wohnt und täglich von 30°C, Sonne und Meer verwöhnt wird, wie man auf ihrem kleinen feinen Fotoblog ganz gut sehen kann. Grüße in den Süden!
PS das Video von “Van Hai – Intimacy” ist auch echt sehenswert!
Yesterday we officially had summer solstice, about 13 o’clock I think. As the summer actaually had the nerve to welcome me with a cloudy sky back in Berlin, I chose “Clouds” by Van Hai. By the way, the tune was a tip of my friend Elly, who’s living in Lissabon at the time, daily spoiled by 30°C, sun and sea, as you can see on her nice and tidy photoblog. Greets to the south! P.S.: The video of “Van Hai – Intimacy” is quite worth seeing, too!
&ME @ Beat Circus Solingen
Das war er nun – der Beat Circus mit Arado, Den Ishu und den Jungs von Screaming Disco. Hätte garnicht gedacht, dass in so einer recht kleinen Stadt soviel los seien kann. Beste Partyreihe in der Gegend – kein Wunder, dass es da schon seit über 3 Jahren rumpelt.
So that was it – the Beat Circus with Arado, Den Ishu and Screaming Disco. Didn’t expect that much fat in the fire of such a rather small town. Best party series around – no wonder it has been rumbling there for more than 3 years already.

Vergangenen Freitag also fand im Foam Amsterdam das letzte Event der ‘FoamLab’ statt: Für eine Stunde wurde das Museum geschlossen, die Wände reproduziert und die ganze Nacht ohne Regeln gekünstelt und gefeiert. Ich bekam die Aufgabe mit den Museumsgästen eine Wand, an der Paul Graham ausgestellt wird, zu gestalten. So vergab ich alte Fotos mit Fragen und Aufgaben auf der Rückseite, die sich aufeinander beziehen und eine Art verschwörerisches Beziehungsnetz bilden. Das Ergebnis meiner Wand und fünf kreativer und überraschend produktiver holländischer Stunden seht ihr hier.
On Friday the last event of ‘FoamLab’ took part at the Photographymusem Amsterdam: For one hour the Museum shot down to reproduce the walls and work on them without rules for the night. I was assigned to work with the guest on a wall that displays Paul Graham. I handed out old pictures with questions and task on the back, which refered to one another and built a conspiratorial network of relationships. The result of my wall and five creative and wonderfully productive dutch hours is here to be seen.

Am 18.6. spielt David zusammen mit Cinthie in Leipzig. Zum Tatbestand der Crime rufen die Geschworenen erneut zur Gegenüberstellung. Wer sich also auf freiem Fuss befindet wird hiermit freundlich dazu eingeladen, dem SWEAT! seinen Abdruck zu verpassen!

Hier die ersten Bilder von unserer kleinen Skatetour. Wir sind in der Gipstrasse gestartet, über die Brunnenstrasse hoch, haben im Civilist ne kleine Bier-Pause gemacht und sind dann am Pappelplatz ne Stunde gerollt. Die Grillfeier wurde dann leider von der Polizei geräumt. War trotzdem ne sehr entspannte Nummer!

Es bischen komisch war es schon auf einem Mittwoch nach Kopenhagen zu fliegen und aufzulegen. Das änderte sich aber schnell als auch die Vice Crew im gleichen Flieger gesichtet wurde, welche gerade auf dem Weg zum Distortion Festival war. Hatte ja keine Ahnung, dass das Festival wie 4 Tage 1. Mai in Berlin ist (ohne die klassischen Ausschreitungen natürlich). Leider konnte ich nur einen Tag davon mitnehmen aber für nächstes Jahr ist schon das volle Wochenende geplant – das Zelt ist auf jeden Fall schon gebucht 🙂
It was kind of strange flying to copenhagen on a wednesday to play at dunkel. That changed quickly when I spotted the Vice Crew on the same plane, who was on their way to the Distortion Festival. Had no idea that the festival was like a 4 day long 1st of May in Berlin (without the traditional riots of course). Unfortunately I could only stay for just one day but for next year the whole weekend is planned – at least the Tent is already booked 🙂
