Letzten Freitag bin ich ganz entspannt mit dem Zug nach Köln gefahren, um dort bei der LIKE meets Liebemachen zu spielen. Auf der Domplatte dann floormate Peter Invasion getroffen und ganz entspannt per Taxi ab in die Papierfabrik. Eine geräumige Location, liebevoll hergerichtet und sogar beheitzt. Die Besetzung für den Warm Up-Slot auf dem Main Floor wurde per Voting anhand von Soundcloud-Mixen ermittelt. Eine bemerkenswerte Idee, wie ich finde – Der Gewinner ist dann auch mit 1853 Stimmen an den Start gegangen. Riesen Location mit Riesendiscokugel, voller Kühlschrank, voller Spaß… Auf ein Wiedersehen in Köln! Hier noch die paar Pixel, die am nächsten Tag aus meiner Kamera gerieselt sind.

Last Friday I had a relaxed train run to Cologne in order to play at the LIKE meets Liebemachen. Met up with floormate Peter Invasion at the cathedral and hopped on a cab to the Papierfabrik. A huge venue, lovingly prepared and even heated. The manning of the warm up-slot was ascertained in a voting by use of soundcloud mixes. A noteworthy idea – The winner joined in with 1853 votes. Giant location with a giant discoball, full fridge, full fun… see you again in Cologne! At last, here are those few pixels that came trickling out of my camera the next day.

Es war mal wieder wundervoll in Kölle. Ich war mit Dr. Snyder und Co ordentlich vorglühen, man sieht sich ja nich so oft ^^. Um 1 war der Laden rappel voll und Pille und David haben die Stimmung hochgefahren, Party war spitze – Snyder hat seine Kontaktlinsen endlich mal wieder verloren – Schmidi hat tatsächlich seine Kaffeemaschine abgefackelt (also die hat echt richtig gebrannt!) und am Sonntag gabs ein herrliches Schnitzel bei Oma Kleinmann! Mission completed.
Being to Cologne was absolutely wonderful once again. To begin with I underwent a serious warmup with Dr. Snyder and Co. in order to celebrate our reunion, because that does’nt happend very often really ^^. The club was packed at 1 o’clock, Pille and David heated up the mood, party was top notch – Snyder finally lost his contact lenses like he’s done a million times before – Schmidi set his coffee machine on fire (the thing actually went up in flames!), and on Sunday we had proper schnitzel at grandma Kleinmann’s house! Mission completed.
