Die Jaded ist eine der ältesten Afterhours in London und findet seit Oktober 2004 jeden Sonntag statt. Den Bank Holidays des Osterwochenendes ist es zu verdanken, dass die Afterhour im Cable ausnahmsweise am Montag stattfand. Ich selbst bin von Rostock über Berlin bereits am Sonntag Nachmittags eingeflogen. Überraschenderweise hab ich am Flughafen &ME getroffen, der auch mit dem Flieger rüber ist und noch am selben Abend auf der Saved Party im einige Kilometer von London entfernten Maidstone seine Toolbox ausgepackt hat.
Unseren Floor habe ich am Ostermontag um 7:30 eröffnet, bevor Adam direkt von seinem Gig aus Köln gegen 9 ins Cable geflogen kam. Weiter gings Back to Back, bis dann um 13 Uhr die Lichter angingen… Es wurde einer der besten Gigs die wir bisher in London hatten! Super Leute!! Wahnsinns Stimmung!!!
Beim Lunch danach mit unserem Gastgeber Raymundo Rodriguez ist auch &ME wieder zu uns gestoßen. Wir sind bis Dienstag geblieben, Sightseeing und latenight Guinness inklusive. Vielen Dank an alle für das knaller Feedback, danke an Ray und seine Crew!! We’ll be back!!!

Jaded is one of the oldest afterhours of London and has taken place every Sunday since October 2004. Thanks to the bank holidays around Easter, the afterhour at Cable was on Easter Monday for a change. I came from Rostock and flew in on Sunday afternoon. Surprisingly I met &ME at the airport, who happened to be on the same plane on his way bringing his toolbox to the Saved party in Maidstone near London that evening.
I openened our floor at 7:30am on Easter Monday, before Adam came flying in directly from his gig in Cologne, arriving at Cable at around 9am. We continued back to back until the lights were turned on at 1pm… it developed to become one of our best gigs in London so far! Amazing people!! Awesome vibes!!!
Afterwards we had lunch with our host Raymundo Rodriguez, where &ME also showed up again. We stayed until Tuesday, including some sightseeing and latenight pints of Guinness. Thanks to all for the nice feedback, thanks to Ray and his crew!! We’ll be back!!!

Ein Tag nach Adam sind auch David und &ME in der Stadt der Liebe eingetroffen. Während Porty schon im Social Club am werkeln gewesen war, konnte sich der Rest frisch und ausgeruht in den Sightseeing Pool begeben – inklusive Louvre. Abends ging es dann gut gelaunt aber mit lahmen Beinen zum Collectif DKO aufs Bateau Concorde Atlantique, wo es nicht nur für die Gäste ein bischn schwerer war an Bord zu gehen. Die Party war halber Ausnahmezustand und ein perfekter Auftakt für die Berlin-Paris Connection. BIG FUN. Bis zum nächsten mal. Danke nochmal ans Collectif für die zusätzlichen Fotos.

&ME and David hit the city of love one day after Adam. While Porty had been pottering around at Social Club just the night before, the others could enjoy the pleasures of sightseeing fresh and well rested – including a visit to the Louvre. The evening continued perfectly tempered, although with a slightly heavy legged feeling on the way to Collectif DKO on the Bateau Concorde Atlantique, where not only some of the guests had difficulties to get aboard in the first place. The party went down under exceptional conditions and became a perfect upbeat for the Berlin-Paris connection. BIG FUN. See you again next time. Heute starten die Berlin Music Days aka BerMuDa. Die nächsten Tage gibt es also alles rund ums Thema Music – von hören über selber machen bis zum Buisness. Morgen sind wir zusammen mit Souvenir im Watergate an der Reihe. Fängt dieses mal schon um Punkt 12 an, da Ruede Hagelstein & The Noblettes noch ein Live Konzert für euch vorbereitet haben. Rampa, Adam und &ME sind wieder als Team Triple Trouble unterwegs in der Schweiz. Morgen wird in Basel gelandet, um am Abend in der Hinterhof Bar zu spielen. Samstag geht es dann mit dem Auto über die Schweizer Berge weiter nach Luzern, in den Strichpunkt.
Wer am Wochenende noch nichts besseres zu tun hat und zufällig in der Nähe ist, der sollte unbedingt vorbeischauen.

Nachdem ich das beschauliche Mülhausen verlassen habe, setzte sich die Reise Richtung Süden fort. Dachte schon, dass die Sonntags Afterhour vom Rocker 33 ins Wasser fällt, da es während der Zugfahrt durchgehend geregnet hat. Mit Stuttgart hatte der Allmächtige zwar erbarmen, hat es aber verdammt schwül gemacht, damit man irgendwas zum meckern hatte. Wenn so die Sonntage in Stuttgart aussehen, dann will ich immer dort sein. Nur die Polizei hat uns einen kleinen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht und fand die Lautstärke irgendwann nicht mehr so gut. War aber kein großes Problem, da wir die Party kurzerhand in den Club verlagern konnten um noch nen bischn Spass zu haben. Hoffe die nächsten Sonntage mit André Galuzzi und Karotte waren genauso sonnig. Bis zum nächten mal.

After having left contemplative Mülhausen I continued my journey heading south, starting to beleive that this Sunday’s afterhour at Rocker 33 would be drowned since it rained during the whole trip. In this respect, the mighty lord spared Stuttgart, however, although he made it hot and humid to give at least something to complain about. If this is what afternoons in Stuttgart look like, I want to be there always. Only the police thwarted us because at some point they didn’t accept the gain in volume anymore. But that was not a big issue, since we had the opportunity to go inside the club and continue having fun for a while. Let’s hope that the following Sundays with André Galuzzi and Karotte were just as nice and sunny. See you next time.
