Letzte Woche waren wir 4 Tage auf dem BPM Festival in Puerto del Carmen, Mexico. Zusammen mit Till Von Sein und Emma von Clique Bookings waren wir zu sechst bei dem Unterfangen, die Tage in die Länge zu ziehen so weit es ging.
Am Sonntag den 11. Januar fand unser erstes BPM Showcase statt, im Tabú Club all night long. Die Party ging bis spät in den Morgen, MC Complicated aus Amsterdam hat für uns gehostet, die Stimmung lief heiss und der Schweiss tropfte buchstäblich von der Decke.
Die darauffolgenden Tage waren sonnig und warm, die Tacos zahlreich, und die Pools erfrischend. Es war eine hammer Woche. Danke BPM! Danke für die Gastfreundschaft, Mexico!!

Last week we spent four days together at the BPM Festival in Puerto del Carmen, Mexico. Including Till Von Sein and Emma of Clique bookings, we were a group of six, giving our best to make the days last as long as possible.
On Sunday January 11th our first BPM Keinemusik Showcase took place at Tabú club all night long. The party continued way until the morning hours, MC Complicated from Amsterdam was hosting for us, the mood ran hot and there was literally sweat on the wall.
The following days were sunny and warm, the tacos were ordered up to three times a day and the pools were refreshing. It was a great week. Thank you BPM! Thank you for having us, Mexico!!

I think all music that is surrounding me like rock ‘n’ roll, reggae, new rap artists and also dance music I like to play in my DJ sets.

I tried to make a good balance between my old and new tracks. Doing this kind of mix was a great view on all my work from 2009 till now. I’m really happy to see that i’m very satisfied with all my releases.

For the second single release of Zoot Womans current album „Star Climbing“, Adam Port delivered a club oriented remix of „Coming up for air“. What started out as an almost fragile poptune has been weightened with a massive beat structure and a bassline way more present compared to the original, however not compromising of the tunes inherent catchiness. Adam Port about the collaboration: „Zoot Woman is one of my alltime favorite bands, so doing this remix was basically a dream come true.“ Zoot Woman – „Coming up for Air“ Remixes, incl. Adam Port Remix was released on Embassy One Dec. 8th (Beatport) and Dec 12th (iTunes).

Das SONUS Festival auf Pag Island in Kroatien hat dieses Jahr zum 2. Mal stattgefunden. Vom Time Warp Veranstalter Cosmopop organisert umfasste das Festival diesmal 3 der vier Clubs am Strand von Zrce… mit dem Papaya, dem Aquarius und dem Kalypso war das bereits ein Club mehr als letztes Jahr. Durch eine Verdreifachung der Besucherzahl im Verhältnis zum letzten Jahr waren die Tickets Wochen zuvor bereits restlos ausverkauft. Der Vibe war dermaßen positiv, überall nur Strahlende Gesichter und auf den Floors herrschte schon am frühen Nachmittag eine Energie, die garantiert noch den lezten Partymuffel bis zum nächsten Morgen mitgerissen hat. David war ab Dienstag da, Adam kam am Donnerstag dazu. Die gemeinsame Abreise Richtung London war am Samstag, dem letzten Tag des Festivals. Es war eine grandiose Woche unter Freunden, mit Sonne, Strand und Meer satt, dem besten Essen und allem, was sonst noch so dazugehört. Unsere Daytime-Party am Donnerstag wird uns als eines der besten Erlebnisse 2014 in Erinnerung bleiben. Danke dafür!!! So oder so, wir sehen uns dort nächstes Jahr bestimmt wieder.

The SONUS Festival on Pag Island in Croatia took place for the second time this year. Flawlessly produced by the Time Warp organizer Cosmopop, the festival included three of the four clubs at the beach of Zrce… counting Papaya, Aquarius and Kalypso, that was already one more compared to the year before. With three times more visitors than last time, the tickets were sold out weeks before. The vibe was so positive, all one could see were smiling faces everywhere, and the energy on the floors was guaranteed to drag along every last party pooper from the early afternoon until the next morning and beyond. David arrived on Tuesday, Adam joined in on Thursday and the common departure was during the afterhour on Saturday, the last day of the festival. It was a great week amongst friends, with the sun, the beach, the sea, the best food and everything else it takes to have an unforgettable time. Our daytime party on Thursday will remain one of our best memories of 2014. However, we are sure we’ll meet there again next year!
