The next record on Keinemusik is by David Mayer and will be out November 13th, 2015.
Named ‘Jaded EP’, the KM030 comes with two tracks, placing the titletrack ‘Jaded’ on Side A and on the essential complementary B side comes ‘Bold’ featuring Sooma.
As always, the cover artwork is by Monja Gentschow and emerged from the close cooperation between her Monifaktur and the artist behind the music, but more about that very soon.
You can preorder vinyl here: DECKS.DE. To prelisten the tracks in full length is of course only possible in the club or on one of our partys, but November is not too far away from now. Wer oben schon reingeklickt hat weiß, was hier gespielt wird. &ME ist im Tool-Haus! Die beiden Tracks “Shallow” und “Heist” ergeben zusammen die nächste KM-EP. Stichtag ist der 16. August, dann schlägt die Digitalversion in den Online-Stores auf. Die KM019 Vinyl wird in diesem Moment versandfertig gemacht und kann ab sofort auf DEEJAY.DE und DECKS.DE vorbestellt werden.
Auf dem Weg zur Vinyl ist die Testpressung ein entscheidender Faktor. Sie dient als Muster für die Serie und steht entsprechend ganz am Anfang, sozusagen als absolute Erstgeburt. Bevor also eine Platte in Serie geht, erstellt das Presswerk eine Testpressung und verschickt sie an das Label. Hier wird die Scheibe unter genauem hinhören abgespielt und final begutachtet. Wenn alles in Ordnung ist und der Klang den Vorstellungen des Labels und der Artistst entspricht bekommt das Presswerk sein GO.
Diese Muster sind normalerweise unverkäuflich, doch ihre Einzigartigkeit macht sie für uns zu einem perfekten Geschenk. So bleiben wir auch dieses Mal unserem Release-Ritual treu und geben das gute Stück an Euch weiter! Für das Rennen um den Gewinn ist die Comment-Section unter diesem Beitrag die ideale Rennbahn. If you have alrady clicked above, you know what game is played here. &ME is in the toolhouse! The two tracks “Shallow” and “Heist” make the next KM-EP complete. The appointed Date is August 16th, that’s when the digital version hits the stores. The vinyl version is being prepared for shipping at this very moment and can be preordered on DEEJAY.DE and DECKS.DE already.
On the Way to a vinyl release, the testpressing is a crucial factor. It serves as the serie’s prototype and hence marks the very beginning, as the first born, so to say. So before a record enters mass production, the pressing plant will always send a testpressing to the label for approval. Here the record will be listened to carefully, and if there are no issues and the sound accords to the ideas of the label and artists, the pressing plant will get its GO.
Usually these Prototypes are nonmarketable. But its inimitability makes the testpressing a perfect present. So just as our release-ritual demands, we will pass it on to you! In the competition on the prize, the comment-section underneath this blogpost will serve as the racetrack once again. Write us a comment right here on our blog, right underneath this article. Since the last Keinemusik night at Horst was such a blast, we’re very much looking foreward to celebrate our newest release there again! Proper eardrumming will be provided by Adam Port and Rampa, &ME and Reznik and ofcourse the two guys with the big smiles on their face: David Mayer and Re.You …”crime time”!

Das fünfte Keinemusik-Release ist bald draußen. Das bedeutet: es gibt endlich wieder eine Release-Party. Aber! Da es ein ganz besonderes Release ist – besonders, weil sämtliche Keinemusik-Producer einen Track beigesteuert haben und weil das Artwork so toll ist, dass wir auch noch eine Sonderedition der Auflage inkl. T-Shirt und Totebag herausbringen – gibt es nicht nur eine Release-Party, sondern zwei. Um 19 Uhr gehts los im Civilist. Geselliges Warm-up mit Freibeck’s und Freisnacks und Frei… ähm… zügigkeit. Wenn dann alle langsam in Fahrt kommen, wechseln wir ab 23 Uhr ins Cookies und feiern mit &ME, Rampa, Adam Port, David Mayer, Reznik und Ignant bis zum Morgen.
The fifth Keinemusik release is coming soon. This implies: There’s finally going to be another releaseparty. But! As this release is an extra special one – not just because this time all Keinemusik producers chipped in a track and because the artwork is so brilliant that we decided to additionally launch a special edition of the whole package including T-shirt and totebag – there will not be solely one releaseparty, but two. We’ll start 19 o’clock at Civilist, a chummy warm-up with free Beck’s, free snacks and other things. When everybody has caught the mood we’ll move on to Cookies, starting at 23 o’clock partying together with &ME, Rampa, Adam Port, David Mayer, Reznik and Ignant all night long.
