Nachdem wir uns endgültig in Mexico verliebt hatten, mussten wir leider abreisen um pünktlich nach Bogota zu kommen. Eigentlich eine ganz einfache Sache, wenn man am Tag vorher keine verdorbene Suppe gegessen hat und aus allen Löchern schiesst (Gute Besserung Rampy). Letztendlich ist aber irgendwie doch alles gut gegangen und wir konnten fast wie gewohnt weitermachen. Danke an Daniel, Ernesto, Phil, Lloyd, Omar und Kevin für unsere erste Latein Amerika Tour. Bis Bald.

Having had plenty of time to fully fall in love with Mexico, we had to move on in order to arrive in Bogota on schedule. Easy thing if you have’nt eaten a bad soup the day before, firing out of every hole (get well soon, Rampy). In the end everything went well and we could continue almost as usual. Möglicherweise sind euch die in den letzten Tagen subtil gestreuten Hinweise nicht entgangen. Keinemusik wird fünf. Bestes Vorschulalter also. Da sich keiner von uns so richtig an seinen ersten fünften Geburtstag erinnern kann, wird es am 22. Februar eine Jubiläumsparty im Stattbad geben, die man hoffentlich nicht so schnell vergessen wird.

Alle fünf sind mit dabei, es werden so ca. 120 high fives pro Minute verteilt werden und fünf von euch setzen wir auf die Gästeliste, wenn ihr mit dem Betreff “FIVE” und deinem Namen an blackhole [at] keinemusik [dot] com schreibt. Auf fünf geht’s los!

You might have realized our subtly spread hints over the last days. Keinemusik is turning FIVE. Such a lovely preschool-age, that is. As none of us is able to remember his first fifth birthday, we decided to throw a more than memorable anniversary party in Stattbad February 22nd.

Keinemusik 5th Anniversary Birthdayparty @ Stattbad

Derzeit gehen sonderbare Dinge im KM Büro vor. Es wird über Farbtabellen gebrütet und Entscheidungen werden getroffen. Schließlich werden geheimnisvolle Päckchen geöffnet und die ganze Mannschaft zum Testpusten geblasen… was ist da bloß los??

Keinemusik bereitet sich auf ihren fünfjährigen Geburtstag vor! Im Frühjar 2009 wurde die KM001 veröffentlicht und das Label Keinemusik war geboren. Wir haben 2014 und sind bestens aufgelegt, denn die Vorfreude ist groß.

In Berlin steigt am 22. Februar im Stattbad die große Keinemusik FIVE Geburtstagsparty. Damit hätten wir das große Loch in eurem Terminkalender gestopft, inklusive einem Wasserdichten Alibi für die Woche danach. Gern geschehen.

Keinemusik is getting prepared for their fifth anniversary! In spring 2009 the KM001 was released an the label Keinemusik was born. Now it’s 2014 and we’re excited in anticipation.

Nach all den positiven Erlebnissen am Wochenende gibt es heute einen ausgewachsenen Dämpfer zum Wochenanfang. Leider müssen wir die geplante USA Tour mit Adam Port, &ME und Rampa absagen. Aufgrund des bekannten “Shutdowns” und einiger anderer Zufälle dauert die Bereistellung des US Visas noch an. Ob das in den nächsten Tagen passiert und wir dadurch die zweite Hälfte der Tour noch antreten können steht noch nicht fest. Wir halten euch auf dem laufenden, falls wir Neuigkeiten haben, aber im moment können wir einfach nur warten. Sorry.

After all the positive experiences of the weekend there is now a full-blown damper on the start of the week. Unfortunately we have to cancel the planned U.S. tour with Adam Port, &ME and Rampa. Due to the “shutdown” and some other coincidences our U.S. visa is still being processed. It’s possible that we get it in the next few days to do at least the second half of the tour. We will keep you posted but for now we can’t do anything but wait. Sorry.

KD7 Prototype

Rampa ist derzeit dabei, die erste Keinemusik Hardware zu entwickeln. Es ist ein modifiziertes DD7, optimiert für die Benutzung als DJ und Live-Act Tool. Unter anderem wurden Eingangs- und Ausgangspegel angepasst, ein Tap zum schnellen Angleichen der Geschwindigkeit eingebaut und die neue Funktion “mom” eingenerdet. “mom” steht für momentary und erlaubt es einem, den FX punktgenau nur für die gedrückte Zeit zu aktivieren.

Rampa is currently about to develop the first Keinemusik hardware. It’s a modified DD7, optimized for the use as a DJ and live-act tool. Amongst other new features, the input and output gain have been adjusted, a tap button for quick speed matching has been added and the new feature “mom” has been nerded in. “mom” stands for momentary and activates the FX only for the time it’s being pushed.
