Zwei Jahre sind jetzt schon vergangen, seit &ME das letzte mal Freiburgs Drifters betreten hat. Rampa ist dort ja mehr oder weniger Stammgast und ahnte wie in seiner Heimatstadt gefeiert wird – kurz und schmerzvoll. Ein perfekter Start für das 4-Tage Wochenende.

Two years have now passed since the last time &ME has entered Freiburg Drifters. Rampa is indeed more or less a regular of the club and knew how they might party in his home town – short and painful. A perfect start for the four-day weekend.

Am Freitag hat Rampa zum zweiten Mal in der Jackson Pollock Bar in Freiburg gespielt. Wieder zusammen mit dem Local Eiskaltes Händchen und wieder wars bums voll. Da es eigentlich “nur” eine Bar unter dem Stadttheater ist und die Anlage jetzt auch nicht unbedingt die Schallmauer durbricht, hat das mit der klassischen Clubnacht eher wenig am Hut. Aber knapp achthundert Partypeople und eine wahnsinns Stimmung geben dem Laden Recht und machen ihn wirklich zu einer sehr wilkommenen und besonderen Abwechslung! Bis bald in der Jackson!

On Friday Rampa played at the Jackson Pollock Bar in Freiburg for the second time. Again together with local Eiskaltes Händchen and again it was packed to the gunnels. Since it’s “just” a bar beneath the city theatre and the rig doesn’t really break the sound barrier just like that, the whole thing can’t be compared with a typical clubnight. But just around eighthundred party people and the absolutely terrific atmosphere are self speaking and turn it into a very appreciable alternation! Next time at Jackson’s!

Am Montag haben wir bei Tageins Schneiders Geburtstag gefeiert. Vom guten Abendessen gestärkt gings mit der Truppe in’ Waldsee Freiburg. Rampa und Shaddy haben Mukke gemacht. Es war sehr voll. Und wir natürlich auch.

On Monday we celebrated Schneider’s birthday at Tageins. Invigorated by the good meal the bunch headed for Waldsee in Freiburg. Rampa and Shaddy provided the music, and it was full, naturally, just like ourselves.

Drei Tage Alarm. Mitwoch die Nike Party, Donnerstag Cookies und dann Freitag Jackson Pollock Bar in Freiburg… Es waren fast achthundert Leute da und es gab zwischenzeitlich Einlasstop. Und nicht nur der Laden war voll… Samstag und Sonntag stand komatöses Sofaing aufm Programm.

Three nights of action, with the Nike party on Wednesday, Cookies on Thursday and Jackson Pollock Bar in Freiburg on Friday. Almost eighthundred people came, the doors temporarely had to be closed. And not only the place was full… Saturday and Sunday were dedicated to comatose couching.

Die Veranstaltung “Tageins” in Freiburg findet jeden Montag statt und ist nach wie vor immer wieder sehr sehr gut! Eintritt ist mitlerweile ab 21, was dem Abend jedoch merklich gut tut. Für alle die noch nicht 21 sind, beeilt euch, ihr verpasst wirklich was feines!

“Tageins” in Freiburg takes place every Monday and is always worth while. The entrance age is now 21, which actually shows to be to the best advantage of the evening. For those of you who aren’t 21 yet, hurry up, you shouldn’t miss this for long!

Gestern ma wieder im Drifters gespielt. Und wie immer hats riesig Bock gemacht. Nur neue CD Player wären ma schleunigst angesagt! Das Wheel glich einem klebrigen Mühlstein und machte das Auflegen richtiggehend zu körperlicher Arbeit.

Yesterday, Rampa played at Drifters Club in Freiburg once again. Big fun, like always. Only some new CD-Players would be highly recommendable! Due to its stickyness, the jogwheel had the properties of an old millstone, so playing became more like a work out.
